CITY ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES OFFICE
The City Environment and Natural Resources Office, otherwise known as City ENRO, was created by virtue of Executive Order No. 02 S.2011 as a separate office having its own mandates programs, manpower, functions and organizational set-up. Headed by City ENRO Engr. June M. Mico, its main functions are to develop plans and strategies and implement the same, particularly those with regards to Environment and Natural Resources Programs .
For the first half of 2013, the City ENRO concentrated its activities on maintaining a good environment for the citizens of the Science City of Muñoz. With the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 serving as framework and guiding standards, the City ENRO continues to educate people about proper waste management and care for the environment to mitigate the effect of climate change. With the support of the Local Chief Executive and the Sangguniang Panglungsod, the department is persistent in encouraging people to be involved in the different undertakings aimed to promote cleanliness and desirable environment of the Science City and rehabilitate the environment with series of tree planting and clean-up activities.
