2017 Christmas Lighting Ceremony

November 16, 2017. Fun and excitement filled the crowd. Expectation, hope, anticipation can be seen in all the faces of the waiting crowd. The annual city hall's Christmas Lighting Ceremony begun with prayers from religious groups and messages from the active Mayor Nestor L. Alvarez, Ph.D. and Congresswoman Mikki S. Violago. According to the good mayor, light symbolizes cooperation, hope, love, peace and forgiveness. Christmas lighting was also done because Christ was born to be the light of the world. The sound of Christmas carols, drums and lyres of the Muñoz National Highschool Drum and Lyre Corps occupied the city hall grounds. Different presentation from the Bungkos Palay Dance Company, Axis Dance Troupe, Mr. Jeremy Manite, MNDC, Ms. Gracious De Guzman, XPointer, Ms. Sunshine Cepeda performed to entertain the crowd. At exactly seven (7:00PM) in the evening, the crowd cheered as Christmas lights and fireworks filled the night. The night was full of fun; and the crowd was invited to dance to the music of the ALUZINA Band and the Wave Sounds Production and Entertainment.
