An additional heavy equipment machinery can already be used in public works by the local government unit as the Science City of Muñoz purchased a new pay loader. This heavy equipment can be used in construction and sidewalk maintenance as well as to move aside or load materials such as asphalt, demolition debris, dirt, gravel, logs, rock, sand and other materials.
The new pay loader was presented in front of the municipal city hall last January 27, 2014. The blessing of the new heavy equipment was facilitated by Father Roman Flores, a member of the clergy of San Sebastian Parish Church. Present in the said event were the head of the municipality, Hon. Nestor L. Alvarez, Ph.D., city mayor and Tekila dV. Alvarez, vice mayor.
After the ceremony, it was then turned over to the Motor pool department under the City Engineering Office headed by Engr. Armando Miranda. It is now fully operational to aid the local government in the improvement of public works.
