SYMBOLISM OF THE OFFICIAL SEAL OF THE SCIENCE CITY OF MUÑOZ
The logo portrays the historical evolution of the city from its beginning as a barrio into becoming a first-class municipality to its upliftment as the first Science City in the country. 
The phrase “In God we trust” was chosen to signify the deep trust of the people of the Science City of Muñoz in the Almighty in pursuance of their development for their community.
The central focus is the golden grain that is the product of scientific, technological and institutional researches performed by the different agencies (molecular orbit) that works in unison to revolutionize farming systems not only for the city in particular but the whole country in general.
The vast green area depicts the unlimited potential for growth and sustainable development that serves as the driving force of the city.
The brown contour, its fertile soil which is supplied with irrigation water (blue waves) is an added value of the city to advance diversified, modern and technological farming system.
The Science City is also host to various farm animals and fish research, culture and development (brown area within the gear) that shows its potentials to generate income and other sources.
The number of teeth in the gear represents the initial number of agencies that work together for a progressive science community.
